Croydon Wilds Ltd.
Where buildability meets technical engineering
Croydon Wilds is an Oxford-based Building Services Engineering Consultancy delivering technically robust, buildable design for projects where performance, coordination, and long-term reliability matter.
We design the Mechanical, Electrical, and Public-Health systems that make buildings work: heating, cooling, ventilation, power, lighting, water services, controls, and energy strategy.
Our work spans high-end residential, multi-unit developments, heritage refurbishments, science, research and development, education, community buildings, bespoke energy systems and plant room replacements.
The practice was founded to offer a focused and hands-on alternative to the traditional consultancy model. Our projects are delivered by experienced engineers who understand both performance and buildability, meaning design decisions are made with installation, access, sequencing, and long-term maintenance in mind.
Clients and architects repeatedly come back to us because we are approachable and fun to work with, clear in our communication, and technically rigorous without unnecessary complexity. We prioritise decisions and coordination over paperwork and presentation for its own sake.
We are intentionally small but not limited. When specialist input is required, such as 3D Revit modelling, fire engineering, air quality assessment, acoustics, or sustainability, we bring in trusted partners while remaining accountable for the full engineering picture.
In short, we help architects design better buildings, we help contractors deliver them, and we help clients avoid surprises.
